A helicopter is scheduled to fly over Midtown Manhattan from 8am to noon and 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday, January 24th.

Update: The same helicopter will also fly over Midtown on Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26 from 4pm to 8pm.

The helicopter will be an Airbus Twinstar and will look similar to the news and sightseeing helicopters that usually fly near Manhattan. The flight will be fairly low over the city, from 800 to 2,000 feet, and the helicopter will be painted black with a blue stripe. It will be filming the city from above, and may have a camera pod on the bottom or the doors open with camera equipment pointed out the side.
