NYPD officers spotted something strange with a van in Washington Heights and pulled the vehicle over at Broadway and West 174 Street. The van was driving with a forged license plate, so Anti-Crime officers from the 33rd Precinct pulled the van over, only to immediately discover a gun case in plain view.

The vehicle contained an unlicensed AK-47 and a shotgun along with multiple boxes of ammunition. Just to add to the fun, the driver was also hauling two bags of marijuana. As a result of the traffic stop, the 45-year-old will be charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Criminal Possession of Marijuana.

No word on charges related to driving with a forged license plate, but the van's device probably wasn't as clever as this Florida man's attempt:
